I don’t quite understand how things work here. I’ve been told that Oxford is most likely to get snow in March. So, if it’s spring in January, does that mean that the order of seasons here is spring, winter, summer, fall? How exactly do plants cope with that?

I lived there for a year, and while I don’t recall it raining every day, I did feel like it was always cloudy and overcast and as though I was never going to see the sun again for the rest of my days…
And I do recall hating the 38 degree drizzle soaking my pea coat as I was walking to haul groceries back…
It only snowed once while I was there. It was February, we had thunder snow, and everyone went crazy and was running around on the lawns asking the American students how to make a snowman. One girl told me that she hadn’t seen snow stick on the ground since she was a child.
